TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY IS A PARTNER OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RES IN YAKUTSK
ANO Technology Development Agency is a partner of the Fifth International Conference on the Development of Renewable Energy in the Far East of Russia, which will take place in Yakutsk on June 22–-24, 2017. CEO Maxim Shereikin will represent the Agency at the conference.
"The Asia-Pacific Region is searching for and promoting new technologies, including in the energy sphere. Currently, it is important for Russia to find new ways of development in the RES sphere, because this niche still has space for development and for implementation of the considerable foreign experience. For us, it is especially important to participate, and to be a partner in such an important event as the conference on renewable energy sources. This event is being held for the fifth year in a row and will bring together experts from all over the world, which, without doubt, indicates the importance and necessity of this conference," stressed Mr. Shereikin.
Several official foreign delegations, as well as representatives of major global companies from Japan, China, the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, will participate in the 2017 conference. The conference will open with a plenary session, whose speakers will include the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Egor Borisov and RusHydro PJSC Board Chairman and CEO Nikolay Shulginov. The following persons will deliver welcoming speeches: first deputy of the Russian Energy Committee Sergey Esyakov, Consul General of the USA in Vladivostok Michael Keays, Consul General of Germany in Novosibirsk Viktor Richter, and Deputy Consul of China Liu Quan.
Delegates will participate in plenary sessions and round tables dedicated to the issues of the regulatory framework in this sector, project financing, and specific features of construction and exploitation of the RES facilities in isolated energy systems and in extreme climates.
Leading Russian and foreign companies will present their experience in the implementation of the RES projects. The Conference for the Development of Renewable Energy in the Far East of Russia has been held annually since 2013. This year, the event will be held on June 22–-24 in the building of the Sakha Theater.
